Introducing BOSS.

Four performers outside. They are moving together, leaning to one side and reaching their hand towards the sky. They look confident and bold.

Introducing BOSS., our new training programme for learning disabled people passionate about the arts and making change. Over one year, two Trainees will join Spectra staff to learn about being leaders in an arts organisation.

We will share more about the programme later this month.

In May, we have three optional taster sessions for anyone who would like to better understand the kind of tasks successful Trainees will be working on:

  • Running a Meeting (how to prepare for and host a meeting): Wednesday 6 May, 1.30pm – 3pm
  • Marketing (how to excite people about an event): Tuesday 12 May, 11am – 12.30pm
  • Finance (how to manage money for a project – without maths!): Monday 18 May, 4pm – 5.30pm

You can find out more and book onto these taster sessions here:

This programme is made possible by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, Reaching Communities by The National Lottery Community Fund and Arts Council England.
