Community Company

Our Community Company is at the heart of what Spectra does, lifting the agency of learning disabled people. In fact, it is this long-term group that started Spectra! This group started in 2014 through a partnership with Queen Alexandra College and has created 9 shows that have been performed to thousands of people. At the moment, the Community Company meets on Wednesday mornings in Bearwood. We make shows, films and other creative productions by exploring dance, theatre, visual arts and music – and always having a laugh. As one of our company members said, ‘The one thing we always are is bonkers!’ The group accepts new members, please contact Hayley if you’d like to find out more.
