Introduction

As an Arts Council England (ACE) National Portfolio Organisation (NPO), a requirement of our funding is to report on environmental impact data via Julie’s Bicycle, and on progress towards the Environmental Responsibility Investment Principle (IP) each quarter via our Board Papers. This Action Plan prioritises the key areas of work which are within our spheres of control and influence as a small organisation which works locally and collaboratively, split into five categories: Commitment, Understanding, Acting, Reporting, Improving. These key areas are listed below. 

• Within our control: procurement, marketing, pensions and banking, fundraising
• Within our influence: audiences, participants, partner organisations, freelancers
• Within our concern: industry peers and local community organisations
