We are thrilled to be recruiting for an important new member of our team: an Impact Lead.
In April, Spectra will be joining Arts Council England’s National Portfolio and will enter into a period of thoughtful growth. Over the next three years, this new role will establish new systems within our organisation, team and working methods to help us measure and improve our impact (community, artistic and environmental) and improve our evaluation methodology.

Information-driven with a creative outlook, this role will take a radical approach to policy review and creation, seeking to establish policies that are useful and accessible to the people they serve.
We think this role calls for someone who believes that data and policy can change the world – and who has creative and inspiring ideas about how to put that belief into action.
This role will have substantial input into creating strategies for Spectra’s future.
With 1 consistent day per week co-working with the rest of the team and the remainder of time remotely/flexible working, the salary for this role is £30,000 per year pro rata, 2.5 days a week with Finance responsibilities OR 2 days a week without Finance responsibilities. This works out as £15,000 for 2.5 days and £12,000 for 2 days (gross pay / pre tax, NI & pensions).

Given our work’s active celebration of diversity and exploration of intersectionality, we want our team to reflect these values. We’re not there yet and want to change this. We eagerly encourage applications from people who are from marginalised or minoritised backgrounds. Our welcome extends beyond the recruitment process; we are committed to creating a working space that is safe and caring for all, eg we offer mental health days, a wellbeing fund, disability access support, a collaborative anti-racism forum, development and training, flexible working (family/carer friendly), and a supportive board of directors.
The CLOSING DATE for applications is Monday 13 March 2023 at 10am.
If you have any questions or would like any support with the recruitment process, please get in touch with hello@wearespectra.co.uk.
