Our Ty got to see his @bhamdancefest and @dancexchange_ commissioned film on the BIG screen today at @mac_birmingham and filmed it for us. Reports are the atmosphere was great and the crowd said 'oooh wow!' when the saw his film. Oh yeah!
This past week has felt like coming out of hibernation into a whirlwind of planning, dreaming and inspiration with @smaylestales @amyrozelmartin @louiseworrall93 and @_wildrumpus. And aren't we lucky that our work takes us from vast construction sites to the beauty of @winterbournehg! Absolutely awesome.
Just announced! Birmingham 2022 Festival will be a six-month festival shining a global spotlight on creativity in the West Midlands as a part of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
On the last Friday of every month, @open_theatre_co and Spectra will be sharing our joint work towards the #MoreThanAMoment pledge: taking genuine action against racism and supporting Black artists.
What would happen if your past self met your future self? Well, a dance battle of course! In Passing Time, four plucky individuals find themselves in a time tunnel, where they are transported from 1919 to meet themselves in the future. Will the battle rage on or will we find we have lots to learn from each other?
